Getting to Lyon

The Rhônexpress shuttle links the airport to Lyon Part-Dieu train station in 30 minutes. See the website for detailed information about directions, station maps, tickets fares.

In Lyon

The TCL public transports link the main spots in Lyon with subways or tramways. Tickets are sold by machines at every subway and tramway station. This map contains the main lines and the main stations to consider:

  • Gare Part-Dieu (at the center, main hub): national and international trains, airport shuttle.
  • Université Lyon 1 (at the top, tramway lines T1 and T4): Institut Camille Jordan (Braconnier building).
  • Debourg (at the bottom, subway line B): ENS Lyon.
  • Place Jean-Jaurès (at the bottom, subway line B): hotel “Séjours et Affaires - Park Avenue”.
  • Saxe-Gambetta (at the center, subway lines B and D): hotel “Séjours et Affaires - Saxe-Gambetta”.
  • Hôtel de ville” and “Bellecour” (at the left, on subway line A): downtown.
  • Vieux Lyon (at the left, on subway line D): the old city.

Velo'v is a self-service bike rental around the city.
